This is another re-leather job I did a couple weeks back on an MMA belt with 4mm thick plates. I took two pieces of the thin leather I have and glued them together. No tooling or stitching. Not yet anyway. Never again will I pay over 0.00 for a leather strap. I got a red strap recently from AJS belts and that's it. They put a synthetic buffer in between two pieces of thin leather. Just as stiff as the Figures Inc. strap. I guess those who simply want black leather might get the real deal but I get FKD for wanting color. They gave a bullshit excuse for why they do it and claim the buffer is real leather. No, it's not. What you see here is real leather. I'd fight it and could probably win but screw it. I've gotten three good products and one lemon. As soon as I get more comfortable, I'll start selling my own straps for half that, maybe even less cause I'll tell you this, no leather strap is worth over 0.00. If you paid this, like me, you got hosed. But your savior is here.
